One-pan steak and pepper pasta

About this recipe: Pasta mixed with red and green peppers, strips of tender steak, mushrooms, onions and tomato.

Serves: 2 

  • 100g spaghetti
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 225g beef fillet steak, cut into strips
  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 red pepper, chopped
  • 5 fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 1/4 onion, chopped

  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to the boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
  2. Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Saute steak strips for 10 minutes. Stir in green and red pepper, mushrooms, tomato and onion. Cook for 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender and serve over pasta.
