900g minced beef
2 onions, chopped
1 egg, beaten
8 tablespoons tomato ketchup
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
90g grated Cheddar cheese
6 burger buns or baps

In a large bowl, combine the mince, onion, egg and tomato ketchup. Season with salt, pepper, oregano and Worcestershire sauce. Lightly mix in Cheddar cheese. Shape mince mixture into 6 thick burgers. Preheat grill.
Place under grill on a tray. Grill, turning once, until cooked through, about 5 minutes per side. Serve on burger buns.
