5 tablespoons olive oil
3 large onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons dried crushed chillies
2 tablespoons tomato purée
450ml (16 fl oz) hot water
good handful chopped fresh parsley
salt to taste
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black black pepper
2 teaspoons paprika
1kg (2 1/4 lb) frozen baby broad beans

Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Sauté onion and garlic until golden brown. Stir in chillies, tomato purée, hot water, parsley, salt, pepper and paprika. Bring to the boil, add broad beans and reduce heat. Simmer for 30 minutes, or until beans are tender.
