    About this recipe: The simplest pasta sauce you will find that is far better than buying shop-bought. Toss with your favourite pasta and add in leftover roast chicken or steamed veg for a heartier meal!

    Serves: 4 

    • 110g butter
    • 225g cream cheese
    • 2 teaspoons garlic granules
    • 475ml milk
    • 170g grated Parmesan cheese
    • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

    1. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add cream cheese and garlic granules, stirring with wire whisk until smooth. Add milk, a little at a time, whisking to smooth out lumps. Stir in Parmesan and pepper. Remove from heat when sauce reaches desired consistency. Sauce will thicken rapidly, thin with milk if cooked too long. Toss with hot pasta to serve.
