    About this recipe: These are great fun to make for any special occasion, including Valentine's, Mother's day, Easter or Christmas. Arrange them in a small box or clear bag and tie up with a ribbon - they'll look like you bought them in a chocolate shop. Use a supermarket madeira or plain cake sponge cake to make the crumbs.

    Serves: 30 

    • 1 (520g) Maderia loaf cake white cake, crumbled
    • 120ml whipping cream
    • 85g dark chocolate, melted
    • 2 tablespoons dark rum
    • 90g ground almonds
    • 50g hundreds and thousands or chocolate sprinkles

    1. In a large mixing bowl, mix together cake crumbs, cream, melted chocolate, dark rum, and ground almonds.
    2. Form mixture into small balls and roll in sprinkles. Store in refrigerator.
