    About this recipe: An easy chicken and macaroni pasta bake that uses leftover chicken so it's ready in under an hour! It's even better if you top with breadcrumbs before you bake it.

    Serves: 6 

    • 200g uncooked macaroni pasta
    • 300g cooked chicken, cut into chunks
    • 225g Cheddar cheese, grated
    • 475ml milk
    • 2 tins condensed cream of chicken soup
    • 100g sliced mushrooms (fresh or tinned)
    • 1/4 onion, finely chopped

    Prep:5min  ›  Cook:45min  ›  Ready in:50min 

    1. Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas 4.
    2. In a large bowl combine the macaroni, chicken, cheese, milk, soup, mushrooms and onion. Mix together and transfer mixture to a large baking dish.
    3. Bake for about 45 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.

    why I expected anything using a can of condensed soup to be edible I don't know. I must have been drunk at the time. This dish is one of the less pleasant pasta dishes possible. - 09 Dec 2013
