About this recipe:A friend of the family gave us this recipe several years ago and after a few tweaks and additions, this is the only bbq sauce I use when I'm making ribs. It makes loads and will keep for a month in the fridge.
Makes: 2 litres
950ml apple cider vinegar
1 (550g) bottle tomato ketchup
450g dark brown sugar
1 tablespoon black pepper
2 tablespoons red pepper chilli flakes
1 tablespoon garlic granules
60ml (4 tablespoons) Worcestershire sauce
120ml lemon juice

In a large container, mix together the vinegar, ketchup, paprika, brown sugar, salt, pepper, red chilli flakes, garlic, Worcestershire sauce and lemon juice. Pour into an empty vinegar bottle, ketchup bottle or other container and store in the fridge for up to 1 month.
