About this recipe: This is such a flavourful, nutty, fresh tasting pasta salad. I always serve it at my parties. I think it's the combination of fresh spinach, the crispy bacon and the pine nuts that make it so good.
This dish was delicious! The hot oil and parma ham wilted the spinach and basil some and then the hot pasta a little more. It was just right. Makes a large amount, so great for large gathering. - 26 Jul 2011

This is my new favorite salad -- used all spinach instead of basil and used fried choped up bacon instead of prosciutto -- You never can go wrong with bacon -- there is never any left over and I always have left over pasta salad.
