About this recipe:Easy to make tuna burgers! These have onion, celery and peppers added. They are spiced up with herbs and chilli sauce.
1 (185g) tin tuna, drained
1/2 onion, very finely chopped
1 celery stalk, very finely chopped
1/2 red pepper, very finely chopped
4 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 tablespoons chilli sauce
1/2 teaspoon dried dill
1/4 teaspoon salt
pinch freshly ground black pepper
1 dash Worcestershire sauce
1 dash hot pepper sauce
4 baps or hamburger rolls
slices of tomato

Combine tuna, egg, breadcrumbs, onion, celery, red pepper, mayonnaise, hot chilli sauce, chilli sauce, dill, salt, pepper, hot pepper sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well. Shape into 4 burgers (mixture will be very soft and delicate). Put in the fridge for 30 minutes to make the burgers easier to handle, if desired.
In a non-stick frying pan, fry tuna burgers for about 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until cooked through. These are fragile, so be careful when turning them.
Serve on baps with tomato slices and lettuce leaves.
