About this recipe: This traybake has a digestive biscuit base, then a sweet coconut layer, and is topped off with a layer of chocolate peanut butter. Very delicious!

Makes: 24 

  • 110g butter
  • 125g digestive biscuits, crushed
  • 200g desiccated coconut
  • 1 (400g) tin sweetened condensed milk
  • 340g dark chocolate chips
  • 130g smooth peanut butter

Prep:15min  ›  Cook:25min  ›  Ready in:40min 

  1. Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas 4.
  2. In one 13x23cm baking dish, melt the butter. Sprinkle the digestive biscuit crumbs over the melted butter. Top with coconut, then the sweetened condensed milk and bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  3. In a saucepan over low heat melt the chocolate chips and peanut butter together. Stir until creamy and pour over the baked bars. Let cool thoroughly then cut into bars. Garnish with more desiccated coconut. Store bars in an airtight container.
