Turn sage and onion stuffing into a moreish party nibble! Simply prepare the stuffing, then roll them into balls and wrap with bacon or pancetta. Bake them till crisp to make a special Christmas treat.
For an interesting alternative chop the bacon up finely, fry until crispy, add to the mixture then shape into balls.
These are excellent . We have them as an accompaniment to roast turkey, or chicken. They usually take around 20 mins in my oven. No matter how many I make, they all go. I do however secure them with a cocktail stick for during cooking. - 23 Apr 2012
What could be better? Bacon AND stuffing! Can't wait to make this with left over stuffing. - 20 Dec 2010
Tried these little fellows and I have to say.... Brilliant!! I mixed pork, apple and caramelised red onions in with the stuffing balls and the results were amazing and not a single one was left... Faultless! - 31 Mar 2014
