glug of olive oil
1 small onion, minced
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
4 fresh vine-ripened tomatoes - skinned, de-seeded and diced
1 tablespoon tomato puree
2 or 3 green or red chillies, deseeded and diced
small handfull fresh basil leaves

Heat olive oil in a saucepan and add onions. Cook until soft. Add garlic, cook for about 1 more minute until garlic is just done. Add diced tomatoes, tomato puree and chilli. Mix well and once hot, add your cooked pasta and toss. Serve with a basil leaf to garnish.
