Sausagemeat Stuffing for Turkey

    This quick and easy stuffing is a favourite with my family, because it's so quick to make and yet is tasty. Pork sausage meat is combined with an array of fresh herbs for fantastic flavour.

    Serves: 6 

    • 200g butter
    • 500g pork sausage meat
    • 250g cream cheese
    • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
    • 2 tablespoons tarragon, dried
    • 2 tablespoons chives, snipped
    • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
    • a pinch salt
    • a pinch black pepper

    1. Heat the butter in a saucepan until melted.
    2. Remove from the heat and allow it to cool.
    3. Combine with the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
    4. Stuff into the turkey.
    5. Adjust the baking time of the turkey to allow for the stuffing to be cooked as well.
