About this recipe: I am English living in the States and have finally figured out how to make sausage rolls using American ingredients. They taste like the real thing!
Yep Rachael , I'm from the UK and live in the US too and that's what I do. What kind of sausage meat do you use? I found to begin with that it is SO terribly fatty that the pastry always ended up soggy, so I used a cooling rack in my pan and lifted the rolls up off the bottom of the pan so they didn't soak the fat back up. I added chopped spring onions to the mix too. - 28 Dec 2012
