This is a great way to use up any leftover sweet mincemeat after you've made enough mince pies to see you through to the new year! Adding tinned fruit gives it more of a saucy consistency.
Rub the butter into the flour until it feels like fine sand. Mix in ground almonds and sugar.
Spoon the mincemeat onto the bottom of a heat-proof casserole dish. Top with sliced fruit. Finally, sprinkle crumble mixture evenly on top of the fruit. If you like, you can top with flaked or chopped almonds.
