Serves: 2

  • 2 onions, sliced
  • olive oil
  • 350g diced lamb
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 tin chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon tomato puree
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 splash white wine (optional)
  • 1 pinch dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 250ml lamb stock

Prep:10min  ›  Cook:7hr  ›  Ready in:7hr10min

  1. Turn the slow cooker onto low. Pan fry the onions in olive oil until slightly translucent and transfer to the slow cooker.
  2. Add all the other ingredients. Place the lid on and forget about it for 7 to 8 hours other than the occasional stir.
  3. About 1/2 hour before serving, you can slightly thicken the sauce by turning the slow cooker to high and removing the lid.

Nice also with pork or beef instead of the lamb.
