Ramen noodles my way

    Tweak your noodles by adding a handful of your favourite veggies and replacing water with your choice of stock! Here's my favourite combination.

    Serves: 1 

    • 230ml beef stock
    • 1/2 red pepper, thinly sliced
    • 1 carrot, sliced
    • a few snips spring onions
    • 1 packet "Flavour Enhancer" (optional)
    • 1 packet ramen or instant egg noodles (beef flavour)

    Prep:6min  ›  Cook:2min  ›  Extra time:3min setting  ›  Ready in:11min 

    1. In a microwave safe container heat stock for 1 to 2 minutes.
    2. Place veg and optional flavour packet at the bottom of a serving bowl. Place ramen in serving bowl, on top of veg.
    3. By now the stock is boiling in the microwave. Pour this into the serving bowl. Quickly, cover the serving bowl with an appropriate sized plate to lock in the heat. Let this stand for approximately 3 minutes.
    4. Enjoy!

    Make it healthier

    Leave out the packet of "Flavour Enhancer" and use a low salt stock.
