Kids' lunchbox favourite - tomato sauce and onion sandwich

As a child my grandmother often used to make me a pack up for school lunches in Australia and I always loved her tomato sauce and onion sandwiches. So easy but surprisingly tasty! I must admit as an adult I still get a craving for these now and again.

Serves: 1
- margarine
- 2 slices white bread
- 2 tablespoons tomato sauce or ketchup
- salt and pepper
- 1/2 onion, sliced

- Spread the margarine on the bread and then spread the tomato sauce on one slice.
- Add seasoning to taste and the onion. Top with the other slice of bread and cut the crusts off. Slice into quarters.
