About this recipe: Parmesan cheese adds great flavour to this basic cracker recipe. These keep well in a tin.


Makes: 20 crackers

  • 180g butter
  • 180g grated parmesan
  • 250g plain flour

Prep:10min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:25min 

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 C / Gas 4.
  2. Melt the butter in a bowl in the microwave oven for 15 seconds. Add all the remaining ingredients to the bowl and mix. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
  3. Place the dough on a sheet of non-stick baking paper or greaseproof paper and cover with another sheet. Use a rolling pin to flatten the dough to 2mm thickness. Stamp out round crackers with a biscuit cutter or glass. Arrange on a baking tray, and bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  4. Arrange the crackers on baking trays. Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
