About this recipe:
This is a very fresh and very pleasant starter.
1/2 red onion, finely chopped
200g plain yoghurt
paprika or freshly ground pepper
salt to taste
- Wash and peel the cucumber. Slice in half and remove the seeds. Grate the remaining cucumber, add salt, and set aside for 30 minutes before draining off liquid.
- Stir in the onion, then add the yoghurt and pepper. Season with salt.
- Pour this mixture into small glasses and garnish with cucumber slices.
