    About this recipe: Stir-fried broccoli with garlic is a great accompaniment to your favourite Chinese main. If you don't have MSG to hand, simple use a little extra salt or a splash of soy sauce.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 3 

    • 500g broccoli florets
    • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    • 3/4 teaspoon salt
    • 2 cloves garlic, sliced
    • 1/2 teaspoon MSG

    Method

    1. Using a steamer, steam the broccoli florets for 3 minutes. Remove.
    2. Heat the oil in a wok over high heat. Add the salt and swirl around. Add the garlic and broccoli and stir-fry for about 2 minutes. Season with MSG. Remove from heat and serve.
