Method Prep:10min › Ready in:10min
Place strawberries into a medium bowl. Dust with sugar, then pour the wine over them. Cover and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours.
Let the strawberries stand at room temperature for 15 to 20 minutes before serving. Spoon berries into 6 dessert bowls, and distribute the remaining wine over the berries. Top with whipped cream if desired.
Very luxurious and simple dessert/coctail. It takes actually 2 minutes preparation when you use frozen strawberries (I used whole ones), I also used whiskey glasses to make ready to consume portions and it looked really posh. The wine tastes strongly strawberries, perfect adult dessert for hot days. - 20 May 2016
