About this recipe: A Japanese side dish of green beans topped with a slightly sweet sesame seed, soy and tahini sauce.


Serves: 4 

  • 200g green beans
  • 3 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon tahini
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  1. Wash and trim the green beans; blanch in boiling hot water with salt for 1 or 2 minutes. Remove and slice in half.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the sesame seeds, tahini, sugar and soy sauce. Pour over beans and serve.
