About this recipe: I like making desserts with oat bran. I added some other ingredients like muesli, honey and a scoop of whey protein powder, and it turned out both a great dessert and meal replacer. You can rearrange the measures in this recipe to suit your taste.
You can use whatever you want and like: cocoa powder, carob powder, smashed banana, grated apple, berries or nuts.
You can reduce the honey if you add more dried fruits, banana or carob. Also, if you'd like to use the muffins as a meal substitute, put in 1 or 2 scoops of whey protein powder.

These muffins are bland, taste a little like sawdust, definitely not a sweet treat in any way. Also, took approx 25 minutes to cook. - 14 Oct 2012
