About this recipe: This is a quick and easy way to enjoy rhubarb. Just three ingredients and about 15 minutes is all it takes! Serve this rhubarb sauce over ice cream or sponge cake, or try it with yoghurt or in a trifle. Once cooled, it is lovely with scones.

Serves: 8 

  • 30g butter
  • 500g thinly sliced rhubarb
  • 100g sugar

Prep:5min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:15min 

  1. In large pan, melt butter over high heat. Stir in rhubarb and sugar and continue to cook, stirring constantly, until tender, 5 to 10 minutes. Serve warm.
