Easy Pork Chops with Apple Stuffing

    The easiest stuffed pork chops with an apple stuffing that is baked right on top of the chops.

    Serves: 2 

    • 2 pork chops
    • 3 tablespoons apple sauce
    • 1/2 pack stuffing

    Prep:5min  ›  Cook:30min  ›  Ready in:35min 

    1. Heat oven to 200 C / gas mark 6.
    2. Boil some hot water, and mix in with your stuffing. Add the apple sauce to the stuffing, and mix together.
    3. Place pork chops on baking tray, spoon on the stuffing mixture covering the whole chop.
    4. Bake in the middle on the oven for approximately 30 minutes.


    Tastes ace with cabage and mash.

    So easy - and delicious too! I added a little more apple sauce than it said but I am guessing that the ratio of stuffing to apple sauce is not crucial either way. The apple sauce makes the stuffing mixture really moist and therefore the chops are too. I used boneless chops. Served with mash, shredded steamed cabbage, steamed tender stem broccoli and onion gravy. Yummy! By the way, the packet of stuffing I happened to have in the cupboard was q a posh one....Wild Sage and Roast Onion Wholemeal stuffing mix....lovely....but sure it would work well with other kinds.  -  27 Jun 2015
