    About this recipe: The perfect accompaniment to any roast. Potatoes are parboiled, then oven roasted with sunflower oil.

    • 6 medium potatoes
    • 240ml sunflower oil
    • 1 teaspoon salt

    1. Wash and peel the potatoes. Chop them into halves and place in a pan of boiling water and boil for 10 minutes.
    2. Preheat the oven to 180 C / Gas 4. Take a tray and pour the oil into it. Place in the oven for 10 minutes.
    3. Once the potatoes are boiled, drain the water and shake the potatoes in the pan to roughen the edges. Sprinkle the teaspoon of salt over them.
    4. Take the tray out of the oven and place the potatoes into the oil. Place back in the oven and let cook for 40 minutes, turning the potatoes halfway through.
