About this recipe: Instead of chocolate, these krispie cakes are marshmallow which makes it a great treat for all ages! Very easy to make, especially with the kids

Makes: 12 krispie balls

  • 45g butter
  • 300g marshmallows
  • 150g rice krispies
  • 50g strawberry laces (optional)

Prep:15min  ›  Extra time:1hr cooling  ›  Ready in:1hr15min 

  1. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over a low heat. Add the marshmallows and stir until all the mixture is melted. When melted remove from heat.
  2. Add the rice krispies and stir until all the krispies are coated. Using your hands roll out into balls and decorate as desired with the laces.
  3. Allow to cool before serving.

Serving suggestion

You can also add Smarties as eyes and the laces for whiskers to make a cute Easter bunny.
