Several family members (including me) have to follow a gluten and dairy-free diet because of allergies, which makes these brownies ideal. They're inspired by the original brownie recipe which in itself doesn't contain any dairy. They were an instant hit the first time I made them.
Serve with a scoop of raspberry sorbet, it makes for a lovely dessert.

I had exactly the same problem as Jen1995. Rises really high, gets a nice crust on top and then nothing! Mixture everywhere. I tried taking the crust off to see if it would help the mixture underneath cook but it just collapsed into nothing. - 11 Sep 2016
