Add all ingredients to your bread machine and select 'dough' option (approx 45 minutes). When cycle is complete transfer the dough onto a floured surface.
Using floured hands (dough will be very sticky), gently cut into 12 sections or 1 half 6 sections. Gently form into a round shape. Transfer onto a greased baking tray - allow room for rising approximately double in size. If making a loaf - grease a loaf tin.
Keep in a warm dry place for 30 minutes. Meanwhile preheat the oven to 180 C / Gas 4. Bake for 12-15 minutes for the rolls and a bit longer for the loaf. Insert a skewer into the bread to check comes out clean and not sticky and bread sounds hollow when tapped. Cool on a wire rack.
Made this rolls easily and quickly in bread machine and they came out really well risen and light, fantastic recipe and believe me I have made many in my time but this one is now top of my list for homemade rolls x kids loved them and they froze really well x - 02 Mar 2014
