    About this recipe: Fast, healthy and flavourful side dish. It goes really well with steak and roast beef. The red chilli adds a little spark.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 2 

    • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
    • 1 red chilli, chopped
    • 1 dash olive oil
    • 1 pinch salt
    • 1 head broccoli, chopped into florets
    • 1/2 lemon, juiced
    • 1 handful almonds

    Method
    Prep:5min  ›  Cook:5min  ›  Ready in:10min 

    1. Saute the garlic and chilli in a large frying pan or wok with the oil and some salt to taste.
    2. Add the broccoli and lemon juice, cover and steam until almost done.
    3. Remove lid, add almonds and cook on high heat until broccoli is a bit charred, but still bright green.
