About this recipe:
Fast, healthy and flavourful side dish. It goes really well with steak and roast beef. The red chilli adds a little spark.
2 garlic cloves, chopped
1 red chilli, chopped
1 dash olive oil
1 pinch salt
1 head broccoli, chopped into florets
1/2 lemon, juiced
1 handful almonds
- Saute the garlic and chilli in a large frying pan or wok with the oil and some salt to taste.
- Add the broccoli and lemon juice, cover and steam until almost done.
- Remove lid, add almonds and cook on high heat until broccoli is a bit charred, but still bright green.
