Start cooking the pasta according to the instructions on packet.
Pour olive oil into a frying pan. Whilst the oil is heating, cook green beans according to packet (i.e. 4 minutes in boiling water in the microwave). Fry the pancetta and the red onion in olive oil for roughly 4-5 minutes.
Add the salami to the frying pan. Cut the cooked green beans so that each one is cut into four and add to the frying pan. You may need another drop of olive oil.
Create a well in the frying pan. Whisk the egg up and add to the well in the middle of the frying mixture, start stirring in the egg immediately to ensure it scrambles and doesn't stick to the pan.
At this point, you can either add the pasta to the mixture, or plate the pasta and add the mixture on top.
You can also use normal bacon instead of pancetta.
