Avocado pear with prawns

    This is the more posh starter than prawn cocktail. Prawns, mixed with Marie Rose sauce, fill avocado pear halves.

    Serves: 2 

    • 2 whole avocado pears
    • 1 big bag cooked, peeled prawns
    • 1 jar Marie Rose sauce
    • 1 slice bread

    1. Cut each pear in half longways and remove the stone.
    2. Mix the prawns and the sauce together in a bowl.
    3. Place the pear halves on plates with a slice of bread cut into four triangles.
    4. Pour the prawns into the hole from which the stone was removed, generous amounts in each of the halves.
    5. Serve and enjoy.
