    About this recipe: These delicate almond and rosewater macaroons are perfect for something sweet after a nice Indian dinner.

    Makes: 28 macaroons

    • 200g ground almonds
    • 200g caster sugar
    • 2 egg whites
    • 2 teaspoons cardomon seeds, crushed
    • rosewater for rolling
    • 28 whole almonds

    Prep:20min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:40min 

    1. Preheat the oven to 200 C / Gas 6.
    2. Mix the ground almonds, sugar, egg whites and cardamom seeds into a paste.
    3. Wash hands in rose water and roll paste into balls.
    4. Lightly push a whole almonds onto the ball. Place on baking tray.
    5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
