This slow cooker rice recipe combines mushrooms, wild rice and brown rice for a hearty side dish. This goes really well with chicken.
I didn't have wild rice so I substituted White Long Grain Rice. It came out a little mushy but I think this was my fault, but It was still very tasty and my family devoured it despite this. This was a great recipe! I did make a few changes: First, I put the dish in the oven at 350 F for 1 hour and it came out perfect. I know sometimes I don't feel like waiting all day for a slow cooker.
