Beef soup

    Quick solution after a long days work! Very tasty! With the leftovers, sift out the veggies and set aside. Throw in some stewing beef and cook for an hour or so until soft. Add in the veggies again and done!

    Serves: 4 

    • 2 large potatoes
    • 2 large carrots
    • 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
    • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
    • 1 Knorr® beef stock cube
    • 1 tablespoon Bovril®
    • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
    • 1 packet Beef & Onion Knorr® Soup (or any other!)
    • 2L water
    • 1 tin peas, drained

    1. Peel potatoes and carrots. Cut both into even, small cubes.
    2. Heat olive oil in a pot and toss in the potatoes and carrots.
    3. Mix in the tomato paste, stock cube, Bovril and sugar.
    4. In a separate jug, mix in the packet soup with some of the water and pour into the pot, then add the remaining water.
    5. Allow to boil for 25 minutes or until veggies are cooked through, then throw in drained peas and cook for another 5 minutes until heated through.
