Chilli Philli pasta

    Quick and easy pasta supper with lots of taste, ready on the plate in 20 minutes. Miss out the prawns and substitute more veg for a vegetarian option, or replace the prawns with chicken, bacon or whatever is in your fridge!

    Serves: 4 

    • 225g pasta
    • 1 onion, chopped
    • 1 pepper, chopped
    • 2 tablespoons frozen sweetcorn
    • 1 pack prawns
    • 1 tub Philadelphia® cream cheese with sweet chilli

    Prep:5min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:20min 

    1. Put the pasta on to boil in salted water.
    2. Gently fry the onion and pepper until translucent, 5-10 minutes. Add the sweetcorn and prawns.
    3. Once pasta cooked, add tub of Philadelphia® to the prawns, and stir until melted and coating the mixture. Serve with a green salad or garlic bread.


    If you can't get the Philadelphia® with sweet chilli, use any cream cheese and a tablespoon of sweet chilli sauce (or more to taste).

    Simple, after work supper. I used separate cream cheese & sweet chilli sauce so I could add more kick. I also used a yellow pepper but that made it look a bit boring. Will use a red one next time.  -  21 Nov 2013


    Nice enough, very straightforward and easy dinner, tasted creamy and rich from the soft cheese, but not quite as zippy tasting as I expected.  -  09 May 2013
