    About this recipe: This is so easy to make and the beef will melt in your mouth. Serve with boiled potatoes or mash. Hope you enjoy!

    Serves: 4 

    • 500g stewing steak
    • 1 onion, chopped
    • 50g sliced mushrooms
    • 50g frozen peas
    • 1 tablespoon tomato puree
    • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    • 1 tablespoon English mustard
    • 1 tablespoon honey
    • 1 tablespoon vinegar
    • 350ml beef stock
    • 1/2 teaspoon cornflour, or as needed
    • salt and pepper

    1. Chop the stewing steak into bite size chunks and place in the slow cooker.
    2. Add the onion, mushrooms and peas.
    3. Mix together the remaining ingredients and pour over, then season with salt and pepper.
    4. Cook on low for 6 hours.
    5. Add the cornflour to thicken the gravy if required.
