Fresh tomato chutney

    No cooking required. This is a 'throw everything in your blender' Indian tomato chutney that's delicous with poppadoms or vegetable pakoras.

    Serves: 12 

    • 3 fresh ripe tomatoes, cores removed
    • 1 clove garlic
    • 2 or 3 spicy chilli peppers
    • pinch salt
    • teaspoon of lemon juice or vinegar
    • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
    • 3 teaspoons brown sugar

    1. Place all the ingredients in a blender or food processor. Blend to a smooth or chunky consistency - whatever you prefer.
    2. Chill for an hour to let flavours mingle. Serve

    I've made this twice now, I only put 1 chilli in though as was a tad too hot for me. It was luurrvely. Xx  -  08 Aug 2015
