Lola's oatmeal and raisin cookies

    Makes: 20 cookies

    • 225g butter, softened
    • 225g caster sugar
    • 170g Carnation® condensed milk
    • 200g oats
    • 150g self-raising flour
    • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    • 150g raisins

    Prep:30min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:45min 

    1. Preheat the oven to 180 C / Gas 4. In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until pale and fluffy. Stir in the condensed milk. Mix in the oats and flour and cinnamon, then work in the raisins.
    2. Break off pieces of cookie dough, about the size of a golf ball, roll them into balls and place them onto baking trays, allowing about 4cm between each cookie. Pat the cookies down slightly.
    3. Bake until pale golden, about 15 minutes. Leave to set slightly on the tray. enjoy!!!


    Why not add a mixture of nuts and dried fruits to this recipe in place of the raisin?
