Christmas biscuits

    Easy, scrummy biscuits that I just found. You can add chocolate chips on top for flavour before baking.

    Serves: 15 

    • 100g butter, softened
    • 100g caster sugar
    • 100g plain flour

    Prep:5min  ›  Cook:1hr  ›  Extra time:3hr cooling  ›  Ready in:4hr5min 

    1. Preheat the oven to 180 C / Gas 4.
    2. Stir together the butter and caster sugar.
    3. Last of all add the flour. Mix together until fluffy. Sprinkle a little flour on a work surface, and roll the dough in a ball then roll the dough to about 5mm thick. Cut with a biscuit cutter.
    4. Bake in the preheated oven until lightly golden, about 20 minutes.
