About this recipe:
Soft and yummy cupcakes that look amazing and taste brilliant!! You can make a icing simply by mixing the icing sugar with milk until the desired consistency is reached.
110g (4 oz) caster sugar
110g (4 oz) butter or margarine
110g (4 oz) self raising flour
Handful jelly sweets
170g (4 oz) icing sugar
Extra time:10min cooling ›
- Place twelve paper cases in a baking tray.
- Whisk caster sugar and butter together till fluffy. Then whisk the eggs into the mix till well mixed in.
- Fold the flour into the mix then place the mix in the baking cases. Bake in a preheated 180 C / Gas 4 oven for about 15 minutes. Touch the top of a cake and it should bounce back if they are cooked.
- Decorate the buns with icing sugar and the jelly sweets!!
