Paprika potatoes
A great way to spice up new potatoes. These crispy oven-roasted potatoes are seasoned with paprika, dried herbs and garlic.
Ingredients
Serves: 2
- 6 new potatoes, halved
- 1 clove of garlic, crushed
- 1 tablespoon sunflower oil
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon mixed herbs
- salt to taste

- Preheat oven on 200 C / Gas 6.
- Steam new potatoes for 10 minutes, leaving the skins on.
- Whilst potatoes are steaming: Place garlic, oil, paprika and herbs in a roasting tin and mix well.
- Drain potatoes and place in roasting dish. Stir to over in oil an arrange potatoes cut side down. Season with salt to taste
- Roast for 45 minutes until skins are crispy.

Very easy and tasted lovely. My husband wanted more but i hadn't made enough! will be adding these to my family favourites. Served with a Chicken and vegetable Ragu. A nice change to the humble roast potato!! - 15 Dec 2012
Turned out lovely. Used some charlotte potatoes we had in the fridge. Didn't have any mixed herbs left, so I threw some oregano, basil and thyme at it and it went well.
