About this recipe: A simple recipe for crab fried rice that can be served as a fresh, healthy snack or as a light lunch.

Serves: 2 

  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 red chilli, finely sliced
  • 4 spring onions, finely sliced
  • 1 tablespoon finely sliced root ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely sliced
  • 1 pack Seafood & eat it® white crabmeat
  • 1 pak choi, finely sliced
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 handfuls frozen peas
  • 150g basmati rice, cooked
  • 1 lime, zested and juiced
  • 1 handful fresh basil

Prep:5min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:15min 

  1. Heat the oil in a wok or frying pan until nice and hot. Add the chili, spring onions, ginger and garlic then fry until fragrant.
  2. Add the crab, pak choi, egg, peas and rice and cook for 1-2 minutes to warm through.
  3. Remove from the heat and stir through the basil and lime.
  4. Serve immediately in two bowls and garnish with a little basil and spring onion.
