About this recipe:
An extremely indulgent dessert, perfect for special occasions! Chocolate banana ganache is layered with brownies, chocolate mousse and whipped cream.

For the mousse: Whip one tub of cream.
In a small pan, melt 1 bar of chocolate, the marshmallows and the butter, with the 60ml water.
When melted, fold into the whipped cream and chill for around 3 or 4 hours. (To save time, you could chill it in the freezer for less time)
For the base: The base is a chocolate ganache with chopped banana. Melt the other bar of chocolate in a double boiler.
Heat a tub of cream in a separate pan until just before boiling point. Fold into the melted chocolate and add the chopped up banana.
Assembly: Put the ganache with banana at the bottom of a trifle dish. Layer chunks of brownie onto the ganache. Add the chocolate mousse.
Whip the last tub of cream and pipe onto the top of the trifle. Done! Tip
I use milk chocolate for this recipe, but it's simply down to personal preference. For a more grown-up tasting dessert, you can use dark!
