About this recipe: A lovely after dinner treat which you can enjoy with family and friends, cold and frothy with a hint of mint.

Serves: 4 

  • 1 squirt mint liqueur
  • 500ml semi-skimmed milk
  • 7 teaspoons instant coffee powder
  • 5 teaspoons cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons caster sugar

Prep:10min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Extra time:10min chilling  ›  Ready in:40min 

  1. Squirt some mint liquor around the bottom of the mug or plastic cups. This will give the peppermint flavour to the drink.
  2. Put the semi-skimmed milk into a blender and then add the coffee, cocoa powder and sugar.
  3. Turn the blender on for 3 minutes and wait.
  4. Pour the mixture into the cups and let it chill in the fridge for 5 to 10 minutes.
  5. Add cream or other extras such as coffee ice cubes (See separate recipe).
  6. Relax and enjoy.
