In a large bowl cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the eggs and whisk. Add the vanilla, almond and flour. Mash the bananas and fold into the cake mixture. Place into a well greased cake dish.
Bake in the preheated oven until a skewer inserted near the centre comes out clean, about 45 minutes.
Cut the slices of cake. You can either eat the cake hot or cold. Enjoy!
you can use any type of cake bowl or if you prefer you could do muffins.
Also you could add more ingredients of your choice.
This would have been lovely but the instructions to use tablespoons of the two essences must be. Mistake - far too overpowering. Try teaspoons. I made it in a 2lb loaf tin and it cne out very thin, will use a 1lb tin next time. - 31 Aug 2012
