Place veg into slow cooker. Add beef to slow cooker.
Make gravy to desired consistency by adding gravy granules to ale and making to a pint with boiling water. Add gravy to slow cooker.
Cook in slow cooker for 6 to 8 hours. If gravy is a bit thin, add some more gravy granules.
Works great with any style of potato (especially mash). Any veg can be removed from the list, I only ever cook this recipe with onions, but I'm a fussy eater, also the thickness of the chopping is down to personal preference.
