Peel and cut potatoes up and put in a pan of boiling water for about 20 minutes or until soft to prick with a knife. Make mash with milk and butter as desired.
Heat a frying pan with oil and cook meat as desired.
In a casserole dish add the meat, tin of beans, peas, sweetcorn, cut up carrots and gravy (using the same flavour as your meat works better and it's up to you how thick or thin you'd like it). Mix together.
Add mash potato on top and grated cheese if desired.
Bake in oven for approximately 20 minutes. Dip knife to the bottom of mixture in the centre and if not desired temperature then leave in the oven for a little longer. Repeat knife process until pie has reached desired temperature.
Lastly if you prefer a crispy top, turn oven to grill for 5 minutes.
