About this recipe:
A great crab meal mixed with cayenne and mustard powder to give it spice and bite. Bake it in shells for a festive presentation.
5 packs Seafood & Eat It® White Crab
120g celery, finely sliced
150g onion, chopped
125g butter, melted
4 tablespoons milk or cream
salt to taste
1 teaspoon mustard powder
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon minced sweet green pepper
- Preheat the oven to 180 C / Gas 4.
- Mix the crab meat, crumbs, celery and onion, then moisten with the butter and milk.
- Season with salt, mustard, cayenne, parsley and sweet green pepper. Mix thoroughly. Pile into shells or flat individual dishes.
- Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes.
- Serve immediately.
